Warm Coats Delivered

Thanks to Dave Mercer, Justin Carlton and Jim Gocke, 43 cases, numbering 258 coats were picked up in Des Moines the evening of October 16th.   On the morning of October 24th, they were delivered to North View Middle School and turned over to Dave Kissinger, Chairman of the Project Warm Coat and Ann Williams a community volunteer.  Later that day the coats were distributed to local children in need of a warm coat.  Also, thank you to Karl Chevrolet for donating the truck to pick up the coats. The final cost of these coats was $16 each of which half was paid by our club and the other half funded through a District matching grant.
