During the meeting on September 12th, President Sally Schroeder presented Tom Friedman with a certificate naming his "Rotarian of the Month" for September. This was in recognition for all he does for the club and in particular for again chairing the committee for the golf ball drop held again this year during the Summerfest celebration in Ankeny to benefit the Ankeny Service Center and the making of root beer floats at the HyVee stores to raise funds for Special Olympics. Congratulations Tom!!
