Doug Beech received the following letter from Holy Trinity Luthern Church:

On behalf of the members, leaders, and staff of Holy Trinity Church, and the clients served by our food pantry, I want to say thank you for your recent gift of $700 (and Girl Scout Cookies!). Your gift not only put food on the table for people who desperately needed help, your kindness and generosity brought hope and grace during a time of trial for all of us.

We have had to adapt our food pantry ministry to allow for social distancing and address health concerns.  Instead of being able to allow people to self-select food from the shelves, we are packing items and placing them in cars when folks drive up.  We also have had to depend on the donation of food items and more on the financial contributions that allow us to have food delivered.  Your gift made a huge difference in our ability to have food on hand.

We opened our food pantry in the hopes it would be not just a service to the people of our community who need food, but a partnership with a concerned community.  Your gift exemplifies our vision and strengthens our partnership.   Thank you for your gift, and thanks be to God!

In Christ, Tim Olson, Lead Paster
