The club will be holding a social at DNR’s Olofson Shooting Range northwest of Polk City, 11652 NW Nissen Rd. on Thursday, October 10th. The evening will begin with a social, including a taco bar, at 5:00 PM. An Instruction and safety presentation will take place from 5:30 - 6:00 PM. followed by open range shooting from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. No experience is necessary, and guns and ammunition will be provided. Personal firearms are allowed pending approval from the Olofson staff.
The event will be free to members and they are welcome to bring guests but there will be a $12 charge for each guest. A sign up sheet will be available at the next couple meetings.
