Jennifer Jones will make history on July 1, 2022, when she becomes Rotary International’s first female president. On January 20th, she gave a live online address for district governor elects from around the world to precede Rotary’s International Assembly which will be virtual on February 7-14. Each year the Rotary International President selects a theme for their year. Jennifer, a member of the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland, Ontario, Canada, took the opportunity to announce her Rotary theme.
She has chosen "Imagine Rotary" as her theme and is urging Rotarians to dream big and harness their connections and the power of Rotary to turn those dreams into reality. She wants members to imagine the possibilities of the change they can make to transform the world. “Imagine, a world that deserves our best,” Jones told the incoming district governors, “where we get up each day knowing that we can make a difference.
