The Rotary Club of Ankeny and Rotary Club of Ankeny Evening's 13th annual Dinner/Fundraiser/Auction “Rotary Runs for the Roses” will be held on Saturday, May 4th at the FFA Enrichment Center on the DMACC campus in Ankeny.
The event will begin at 4:00 PM with social time and the opportunity to watch live racing on the big screen, 17' x 10', including the Kentucky Derby at approximately 5:35 PM. Complimentary wine and beer and specialty drinks will be available throughout the evening as well as feeding stations for all guests. Guests will have the opportunity to pick their favorite horse and have a chance to win prizes. In addition to a silent auction, a program including “Heads or Tails”, paddle raisers to benefit two local non-profit organizations, and a live auction will begin at 7:00 PM.
The proceeds from this event will be utilized by the Ankeny Rotary Clubs in their continued support of local and international projects. Each year, the Ankeny Rotary Clubs provide hundreds of hours of volunteer support for numerous local events and fundraisers and contributes $50,000 - $60,000 to local charities and service projects. Individual tickets are $75 each or reserve a table of eight for $550. Tickets and sponsorships may be purchased from any Ankeny Rotarian or on-line at https://bidpartner.net/rotary/. The available sponsorships are:
- Triple Crown Sponsorship – Two tables each for eight guests. priority seating, table side champagne/wine service, photo booth sponsor, priority recognition on the on-line bidding platform and on the marketing and event signage, full-page ad in program booklet - $5,000
- Winner’s Circle Sponsorship - Two tables each for eight guests, priority seating, recognition on the on-line bidding platform and on the marketing and event signage, half-page ad in program booklet - $2,500
- Garland of Roses Sponsorship – One table for eight guests with priority seating, recognition on the on-line bidding platform and on the marketing and event signage - $1,000

Larger items will be sold during the live auction and smaller items will be sold during the silent auction or packaged with other items. All donors will be recognized in the auction program.
