The Ankeny Leadership Institute is a cooperative effort between the City of Ankeny, The Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce and the Ankeny Economic Development Cooperation. Each class of future leaders chooses a project to complete during the year they participate in this class. The 2019 class choose to conduct the first annual "Engage Ankeny" . The event was held on May 16th at the Ankeny Market Pavilion with 43 Ankeny area service clubs and non-profit organizations participating including the Rotary Club of Ankeny.
