The Club's Literacy Committee is working on several projects. They helped the Kirkendall Library kick off their summer reading program, several members are putting books in book boxes around town, and they are supplying free books to the Ankeny Service Center for their clients as shown in this picture.
Donated books are always appreciated as they keep sharing with children and families around town. If any member has a book box in their neighborhood, they are encouraged to add books to them. This helps fit in to the Club's literacy goal that is part of Rotary international. If any member has books in good condition they would like to donate to this project, they can bring them to a meeting and give them to Kathy Sibbel.
