Root Beer Float Sales Total $708 for Special Olympics

Members of the Rotary Club of Ankeny plus a couple spouses made root beer floats at the two Ankeny HyVees on May 25th.  Donations, that will be forwarded to Special Olympics, totaled $708.52.  This compares to $893.18 collected last year.  A total of 31 liters of root beer and 29 tubs of ice cream were used.
