The Rotary Club of Ankeny purchased 138 coats to be distributed through Project Fresh Start in Ankeny. Here is a thank you received from Anne Williams:
"Dear Rotary Club Members, On behalf of Project Fresh Start, I would like to extend my thanks for your generous donation of winter coats. The look on the faces of the studnets who walk out the door holding a brand new coat is heartwarming. A huge pat on the back goes to all the members of the Ankeny Rotary Club for helping to make that happen! As is the case with most things this year, we believe COVID had a negative impact on attendance at the giveaway.
