It was a year ago this month that our club had a strategic planning session to determine the vision for the next few years. One of the action steps turned into a goal for the year: host a city- wide summit. After months of planning with the Chamber of Commerce, Lions, Kiwanis and Optimists, the Rotary Club of Ankeny will be part of “The Showcase: An Evening with Ankeny Service Clubs” on March 27th. Flyers will be distributed at club meetings and on Facebook. This will be an opportunity to tell our story, recruit prospective members and begin to collaborate with the other service organizations to promote our community. Please reach out to someone who would make a contribution to service and invite them March 27th from 5-7 at the Ankeny Golf and Country Club.
