Steve SchraderBachar, the Foundation Chair for the Rotary Club of Ankeny, gave an update on the Rotary Foundation and then recognized 22 individuals for becoming new Paul Harris Fellows and 12 more for achieving the next Paul Harris level. He stated members of the Rotary Club of Ankeny donated $12,780 to the annual fund and $5,100 to PolioPlus for a total of $17,880 to the Rotary Foundation during the 2017-2018 year. This was $210.35 per active member.
The total contributions for the Rotary Club of Ankeny since it was chartered in 1973 is now $252,025 to the annual fund and $50,930 to PolioPlus for a grand total of $302,9553 by the Rotary Club of Ankeny to the Rotary Foundation since the club was chartered in 1973. Also, the club now has 78 Paul Harris Fellows.
