Rotary District 6000's "Guardian of Integrity" award is named for Boone Rotarian and Past District Governor (1954-55), Judge Paul E. Hellwege, who passed away in 2010, and is established to promote the ideals of ethics and integrity, which were Paul's fervent passions.  The awards will be presented annually to Rotarians who have been a member of a club in District 6000 for a minimum of three years and who exemplify the attributes and passion for ethics and integrity in their vocational, business and personal lives that Paul exemplified.  Each club in District 6000 may nominate one member each year to receive this award.  Those who are nominated will be recognized at the annual District Conference.
 
Past winners from Ankeny of this award include; Nate Burnham, Sally Schroeder, Gary Welch, and Kathy Sibbel.  It was announced at the December Board meeting the Rotary Club of Ankeny will be nominating Jim Ramsey this year for this award.    Congratulations Jim!!
