The Rotary Club of Ankeny Evening Group met at Meals from the Heartland, in West Des Moines, on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Twenty-one members and guests were present to help pack meals. Jeff Magner presented a check from the Club in the amount of $500 to Meals from the Heartland to help pay for the cost of materials and shipping. The $500 will pay for provide approximately 3,000 meals or feed eight kids for a year. After the event, several went over to “The Hall” for some food and beverages.
