On the evening of August 4th, the Evening Group completed a service project for Backpack Buddies. The group met at Mistress Brewing and filled approximately 25 backpacks with food to be given to students at Oak Park Elementary School in North Des Moines. The club donated $500 towards the purchase of the food and 24 Rotarians and guests helped fill the backpacks. Thank you to Jenna Lanning for organizing this project.
