Donations Approved by the Board

During their meeting on November 10th, the Board for the Rotary Club of Ankeny approved the following donations:

 

Ankeny Service Center's Holiday Assistance - $750 - Funds to be used to purchase gift cards for items such as food and gasoline to be added to donations for families in need in the Ankeny community.

 

Ankeny Head Start - $204 - The evening club will purchase 34 literacy kits for children at $6 each from the United Way of Central Iowa.  They will assemble and donate them to the Ankeny Head Start Program.
