The Rotary Club of Ankeny donated funds for two $500 scholarships at each Ankeny high school at the end of the 2017-2018 school year. Recently, a thank you note including pictures was received from Dollars for Scholars. It read:
"Thank you for making a difference! Your generous financial support to Ankeny Dollars for Scholars is an investment in the life of a young individual. It allows the graduates from Ankeny and Ankeny Centennial to pursue their educational dreams. As the president of Ankeny Dollars for Scholars, please accept my heartfelt thanks. As a community, we donated $73,406 in 2018 and awarded 132 scholarships to the graduates. You were an important of this success. Ankeny Dollars for Scholars in such a worthy cause and thank you for being such an integral part of our success, We could not do it without you." Sincerely, Kristen Gray
