President Todd Wehr, on behalf of the Rotary Club of Ankeny, presented four $500 scholarships at Ankeny's Dollars for Scholars awards night at Centennial High School on May 25th. The recipients of these scholarships were Jordan Su, Allison Su, Jaclyn Carlson, and Katlyn Carlson. The following thank you's have been received from Jordan and Allison both of whom attended RYLA in 2019:
"I am honored to be the recipient for the Rotary Club of Ankeny Dollars for Scholars Scholarship. Thank you for your generosity, which will go towards my education at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. At CWRU, I am planning on majoring in biomedical engineering on a Pre-Med Track. This scholarship will have reduced my financial burden and help me to focus more on school! "My name is Allison, and I am the student who received your generous donation for Dollars for Scholars! I wanted to say thank you so much for the support, and I plan to use the money to help me achieve my goals in college! Right now, I plan to attend Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland! I will most likely major in public health and molecular biology, and pursue a pre-meical tract. Hopefully, you'll see me as a surgeon after a few years!!
