The Rotary Club of Ankeny will be one of the sponsors of "Bourbon & Bowties", a fundraiser to benefit the Mid-Iowa Council of the Boy Scouts of America. It will be held on Wednesday, April 7th at the Ankeny Golf & Country Club from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. The evening will include:
- Heavy Hors d'oeuvres
- 15 Bourbons/Whiskeys to sample featuring
- Kentucky Bourbons
- Iowa Bourbon/Whiskeys
- Irish Whiskeys
- Prize for Best Bowtie
- Wheel Barrel of Whiskey Auction
All this for a $50 donation to be paid at the door with 100% of proceeds to benefit local youth programs within the Mid Iowa Council of Boy Scouts of America. Mark you calendar, plan to attend, and bring a friend.
