There are more than 35,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide. The Rotary Club of Ankeny was one of 5,034 worldwide to attain status as an "Every Rotarian, Every Year Club" for th2016-2017 Rotary year. To achieve this status a club must contribute an average of at least $100 per member with every Active member personally making a contribution to the Rotary Foundation's Annual Fund.
The certificate read: Ankeny is presented a certificate of appreciation for its financial support of End Polio Now; Make History Today Campaign. Together, we will fulfill our promise to the children of the world and eradicate polio.
