With the assistance of a matching District Community Development grant, the Rotary Club of Ankeny provided funding for the AGAPE garden to purchase a potato plow. While participating in a service project to help harvest over 1,100 pounds of turnips and onions, members of the Ankeny Evening Rotary Club were able to get their picture taken with the plow. A very lovely thank you card has been received from The AGAPE Garden Team from the First United Methodist Church. "Thank you for the awesome gift. This Potato Plow is going to help us be sustainable for many years."
