The time is now for Rotarians to make a decision to attend District 6000's annual conference. This year's conference will be held at 5 different locations throughout District 6000 so every member can attend at least one session without driving a long distance or staying overnight. Ankeny Rotarians should plan to attend the "Toast" on April 14, 2018, at the West Des Moines Marriott from 5:30 to 9:00 PM. The event will start with a social hour followed by a delicious buffet meal. The diverse program will feature Rotary International President's Representative, Lisa Herring from Texas, and Mary Beth Johnson from World Bicycle Relief. Various clubs and young Rotarians will also be featured. There will be displays, awards, a great opportunity to meet Rotarians from other clubs, fun, fellowship and door prizes! This is a wonderful opportunity to participate in a district event that is close to home, short time commitment, and cost friendly in a business casual environment.
The time is now to get registered. Forms will be on each table during the next few weeks or you can go to www.Rotary6000.org and register online. The registration fee of $49 per person will be paid by the Rotary Club of Ankeny.
