The committee planning the "50th Anniversary" of the Rotary Club of Ankeny has been meeting for the past couple months. Several decisions have been made and plans, so far, include: a catered meal, gifts for all guests, an appearance by Paul Harris, toasts, entertainment, a photographer, Paul Harris presentations, and a District Community Service Grant to assist with the planting of 50 trees.
The next committee meeting will be at 11:00 AM prior to the regular noon meeting on July 19th. Anyone that would like to serve on the committee is welcome to attend. Contact Sally Schroeder, ssschroeder@icloud.com if you have any questions.
