The Rotary Club of Ankeny’s 2023 fundraiser “Raise the Stakes for Community” will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023. It will be held at the FFA Enrichment Center on the campus of DMACC in Ankeny. The evening will begin with appetizers and professional Las Vegas style gaming tables open for action at 5:00 PM. Everyone purchasing a ticket will receive chips to play the games which will include Black Jack, Roulette, Craps, Poker, Three Card Poker and Let It Ride. Complimentary wine and beer will be available throughout the evening and a buffet dinner will be available beginning at 6:30 PM. In addition to a silent auction, there will be a program that will begin at 8:00 PM which will include, "Heads or Tails", dessert auction, paddle raisers, "100 for 100 Raffle" and a live auction.
A highlight of the evening will be the Brazilian Twins performing in the atrium as you play at the tables. They came from a reality in which some days it was hard to smile. Now their desire is to positively impact the world and bring a smile to everyone they encounter. There will also be "Caricature By Steph" available to create a hilarious drawing of your face. Steph loves to make people smile and enjoys the laughter that each drawing brings as it is revealed. And magician, Jonathan May will be strolling to amaze you with close up magical moments.
All members are encouraged to purchase tickets, attend this event, donate bottles of wine for the Wall of Wine, and help obtain auction items. Tickets will be $75 each or a table of 8 is $550 and will be available for purchase on-line in a couple weeks..
