Rotary Fall Family Picnic to be August 9th

The third annual Rotary Club of Ankeny family picnic will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2015.   Due to construction at Sunrise Park, the picnic will be held at Sunset Park, 1320 SW 3rd, this year.   A social time will begin at 5:30 PM with hot dogs and hamburgers, provided by the club, being ready to eat at 6:30 PM.  Everyone should bring their own beverage of choice and a side dish to share.  The club will provide water and lemonade.  Both the noon and evening Rotary meetings are cancelled for that day and all members are encouraged to attend the picnic and bring all family members, guests, and prospective new members.   After dinner we are planning to go to the Ankeny Market Pavilion to get a picture of the group.

 

A sign up sheet will be available at our next couple club meetings where you can indicate if you plan to attend, bring a guest, and what side dish you can bring to share.  We will need to have a final count by August 6th prior to placing the order for the meat.
