One of the special obligations of membership in Rotary is regular attendance at the weekly meetings; it is the basic method of fulfilling the principle of fellowship as well as a way of representing your vocation. The Rotary Club of Ankeny has regularly ranked in the top 15 among clubs in District 6000 in the percent of its members attending meetings however our attendance has dropped during the first couple months of this year. During 2015-2016 our average attendance was over 76%. This dropped to 72% last year and is 63% so far this year and we have several Active members that have fallen below the Rotary International guideline of attending at least 60% of all meetings.
