Board Approves New Donations

During their meeting on September 8th, the Board approved the following donations:

 

On With Life - The noon club held their meeting at On With Life on July 19th and was served a very nice lunch by their kitchen staff.   As a thank you for hosting our meeting, the Board approved a donation of $300 to be used by On With Life as they choose in their therapy garden.

 

Dorothy's House - A request for $300 to install a security system in a second residence including wireless monitors and cameras was approved.

 

Warm Coat Project - The club has participated in a Rotary District grant in each of the past two years to provide coats to Ankeny school children in cooperation with Project Fresh Start.   The grant is not available this year but the Board did approve to provide $2,000 for coats again this fall.  This should purchase 110-120 coats.
