During the meeting on July 13th, the Rotary Club of Ankeny's Board approved a donation in the amount of $1,000 for the New Horizon Adult Day Center. This donation will be a sponsorship for the New Horizon's annual golf outing to be held on August 19th. The funds raised at this event will help to pay for software required to do mandated documentation. New Horizons Adult Day Center serves the Ankeny and surrounding communities and their mission is to enhance the quality of life for adults who are physically and/or cognitively challenged by providing compassionate day services. They are dedicated to helping adults of all ages maintain their level of independence, remain in their own homes and be active members of their communities.
